The 90’s wrapped up with this, perhaps the most iconic (or at least top 5) of all modern teen movies. Channeling My Fair Lady, Sabrina, and even Cinderella, the movie bites with charm, wit, and quotables in a modern retelling, though that bite is with a mouth full of 90’s fashion, music, and slang (“Yeah, busy ‘Wiggin’”). Join us for the bet that made audiences ignore the jackassery of the male lead, Freddie Prinze Jr playing against type, with little redeeming qualities while semi-newcomer Rachel Leigh Cook steals, drinks, and wipes her mouth with every scene she’s in.
